These terms apply to the Korea Bike Route Android app and the web ride viewer (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Richard Bryson, an individual developer. By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
1. The Service
Korea Bike Route helps you ride Korea’s certified bike routes. It shows maps, routes, stamp locations and weather, records your rides, and lets you share a ride with people you choose. The Service is currently free. Features may change, and we may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Safety: please read
- Not a navigation guarantee. Maps, routes, turn cues, stamp locations, hazard reports, facilities and weather come from third parties and other users and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Always follow road signs, closures and conditions on the ground.
- Obey traffic laws. Follow the Road Traffic Act and local rules, wear a helmet, and don’t handle your phone while riding. Stop safely before using the app.
- Not an emergency service. The app does not contact emergency services or anyone else for you. The SOS screen only shows emergency numbers (such as 119 and 112) and the contacts you saved. Nothing is called or sent until you press Call or Send yourself. Fall check-ins and alerts to viewers depend on your phone, battery, GPS and network, and may not arrive. In an emergency, call 119 (fire and ambulance) or 112 (police) directly.
- Sharing is your choice. Think before sharing your live location, and share ride codes and links only with people you trust.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login and ride codes private. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. You can delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account.
4. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of the messages, photos, notes, hazard reports and other content you post. You give us permission to store, process and show it as needed to run the Service (for example, showing a hazard report to other riders). Do not:
- post false hazard reports or alerts, spam, or content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual or violent;
- share other people’s personal information or locations without their consent;
- impersonate others, or try to access rides, accounts or data that aren’t yours;
- interfere with the Service, overload it, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.
We may remove content or hide hazard reports that break these terms or that other users vote as no longer there.
5. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We may also discontinue the Service. If we do, we will try to give notice in the app or on the Play Store listing.
6. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party services such as Google Firebase, Kakao (login, maps, search, sharing and directions), map tile providers and weather providers. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and their own terms apply. Gifts bought through KakaoTalk Gift are sold by Kakao, not by us.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. You ride at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage arising from riding, from relying on maps, routes, hazard or weather information, or from a feature (such as tracking, alerts or SOS) not working. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

이 약관은 Korea Bike Route 안드로이드 앱과 웹 라이드 뷰어(이하 “서비스”)에 적용됩니다. 서비스는 개인 개발자 리처드 브라이슨(Richard Bryson)이 제공합니다. 서비스를 이용하면 이 약관과 개인정보 처리방침에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
제1조 (서비스 내용)
서비스는 국토종주 자전거길 등 인증 자전거길 라이딩을 돕기 위해 지도, 경로, 인증센터(스탬프) 위치, 날씨를 보여 주고 라이딩을 기록하며, 이용자가 선택한 사람과 라이드를 공유할 수 있게 합니다. 서비스는 현재 무료이며, 기능은 사전 예고 없이 추가·변경·중단될 수 있습니다.
제2조 (안전 관련 고지)
- 길 안내의 정확성을 보장하지 않습니다. 지도, 경로, 회전 안내, 인증센터 위치, 해저드 제보, 편의시설, 날씨 정보는 제3자와 다른 이용자로부터 제공되어 부정확하거나 오래되었을 수 있습니다. 항상 현장의 표지판, 통제, 도로 상황을 따르세요.
- 교통 법규를 지키세요. 「도로교통법」 등 관련 법규를 준수하고 헬멧을 착용하며, 주행 중에는 휴대폰을 조작하지 말고 안전한 곳에 멈춘 뒤 이용하세요.
- 긴급 구조 서비스가 아닙니다. 앱은 이용자를 대신해 긴급 기관이나 다른 사람에게 연락하지 않습니다. SOS 화면은 긴급 번호(119, 112 등)와 저장한 연락처를 보여 줄 뿐이며, 이용자가 직접 통화 또는 전송 버튼을 누르기 전에는 어떤 전화나 메시지도 보내지 않습니다. 낙차 확인 및 관전자 알림은 휴대폰·배터리·GPS·네트워크 상태에 따라 전달되지 않을 수 있습니다. 긴급 상황에서는 119(화재·구급) 또는 112(경찰)에 직접 전화하세요.
- 공유는 이용자의 선택입니다. 실시간 위치 공유 전에 신중히 판단하고, 라이드 코드와 링크는 신뢰하는 사람에게만 공유하세요.
제3조 (계정)
이용자는 자신의 계정에서 이루어지는 활동과 로그인 정보·라이드 코드 관리에 책임이 있습니다. 계정은 만 14세 이상만 만들 수 있습니다. 계정은 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다(계정 삭제 안내).
제4조 (이용자 콘텐츠와 이용자의 의무)
이용자가 게시한 메시지, 사진, 메모, 해저드 제보 등의 권리는 이용자에게 있으며, 이용자는 서비스 운영에 필요한 범위(예: 다른 라이더에게 해저드 제보 표시)에서 이를 저장·처리·표시할 수 있도록 허락합니다. 다음 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
- 허위 해저드 제보나 알림, 스팸, 불법·혐오·괴롭힘·음란·폭력적인 콘텐츠 게시
- 동의 없이 다른 사람의 개인정보나 위치를 공유하는 행위
- 타인 사칭, 본인 것이 아닌 라이드·계정·데이터에 접근하려는 행위
- 서비스 방해, 과부하 유발, 법이 허용하는 범위를 넘는 역설계
약관을 위반한 콘텐츠나 다른 이용자가 “없음”으로 투표한 해저드 제보는 삭제되거나 숨겨질 수 있습니다.
제5조 (이용 정지 및 해지)
이용자는 언제든지 서비스 이용을 중단할 수 있습니다. 약관을 위반하거나 다른 사람을 위험에 빠뜨리는 이용자는 이용이 정지되거나 해지될 수 있습니다. 서비스를 종료하는 경우 가능한 한 앱 또는 Play 스토어 페이지에서 미리 알립니다.
제6조 (제3자 서비스)
서비스는 Google Firebase, 카카오(로그인·지도·검색·공유·길찾기), 지도 타일 및 날씨 제공자 등 제3자 서비스를 이용하며, 그 가용성과 정확성은 운영자가 통제할 수 없고 각 서비스의 약관이 적용됩니다. 카카오톡 선물하기를 통한 구매는 카카오가 판매하는 것입니다.
제7조 (면책 및 책임의 제한)
서비스는 법이 허용하는 범위에서 “있는 그대로” 제공되며 어떠한 보증도 하지 않습니다. 라이딩은 이용자의 책임하에 이루어집니다. 법이 허용하는 범위에서 운영자는 간접·결과적 손해, 라이딩 중 발생한 부상·손실, 지도·경로·해저드·날씨 정보에 의존하여 발생한 손해, 위치 기록·알림·SOS 등 기능이 작동하지 않아 발생한 손해에 대해 책임지지 않습니다. 다만 운영자의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 인한 책임 등 관련 법령상 제한할 수 없는 책임은 제한하지 않습니다.
제8조 (준거법 및 관할)
이 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따르며, 분쟁은 「민사소송법」에 따른 관할 법원에서 해결합니다. 다만 강행적인 소비자 보호 법령이 달리 정하는 경우 그에 따릅니다.
제9조 (약관의 변경)
약관이 변경되면 시행일과 함께 이 페이지에 게시합니다. 변경 후에도 서비스를 계속 이용하면 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
