This page explains how to delete your Korea Bike Route account (app by Richard Bryson) and the data linked to it. You don’t need to sign in to read this page or to send a request by email.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open Korea Bike Route and sign in.
- Tap the gear icon to open Help & Settings.
- In the Account section, tap Delete account, then confirm. If you use an email and password, enter your password. If Kakao or Google asks you to sign in again, sign in and repeat.
This immediately deletes your login (Firebase Authentication account), your stamp checks, notes, photo records and ride history, your username and your ride sync key.
A few server records can’t be removed from the phone, such as your ride session, published ride card, viewer list, messages, hazard reports, place reports and uploaded photo files. To remove everything, also send the email in Option 2. We will delete the rest within 30 days.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Email michinmigugin@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my Korea Bike Route account”. If you signed in with Kakao, include your rider name or nickname and the Kakao account email if you have one, so we can find your account. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours.
What we delete (within 30 days)
- Your Firebase Authentication account (login, email, name, profile photo link)
- Your user record, stamp checks, notes, ride history and photos (records and files)
- Your rides and ride sessions, live and published ride data, and your public riders list entry
- Your viewer list, and your entries in other riders’ viewer lists
- Messages, cheers, polls, suggestions, reactions and alerts on your rides
- Hazard reports and hazard votes you made, and place reports you sent
- Your username and ride sync key
What we keep
Nothing, unless a law requires us to keep a specific record. Then we keep only that record, only for the period the law requires.
Data on your phone
Privacy zones, SOS contacts, crash reports, offline maps and your local ride log are stored only on your phone and never on our servers. To remove them, clear the app’s storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app.

방법 1: 앱에서 삭제

- 계정 항목에서 계정 삭제를 누르고 확인합니다. 이메일·비밀번호 계정은 비밀번호를 입력하세요. 카카오나 구글에서 다시 로그인을 요청하면 로그인 후 다시 시도하세요.
즉시 로그인 계정(Firebase Authentication), 스탬프 확인 기록, 메모, 사진 기록, 라이딩 이력, 사용자 이름, 라이드 동기화 키가 삭제됩니다.
라이드 세션, 공개된 라이드 카드, 관전자 목록, 메시지, 해저드 제보, 장소 제보, 업로드된 사진 파일 등 일부 서버 기록은 휴대폰에서 삭제할 수 없습니다. 모든 데이터를 삭제하려면 방법 2의 이메일도 보내 주세요. 나머지 데이터는 30일 이내에 삭제합니다.
방법 2: 이메일로 삭제 요청
계정에 연결된 이메일 주소로 michinmigugin@gmail.com에 제목 “Delete my Korea Bike Route account”로 메일을 보내 주세요. 카카오로 로그인한 경우 계정을 찾을 수 있도록 라이더 이름(닉네임)과, 있다면 카카오 계정 이메일을 적어 주세요. 본인 확인을 위해 추가 질문을 드릴 수 있습니다.
삭제되는 데이터 (30일 이내)
- Firebase Authentication 계정(로그인, 이메일, 이름, 프로필 사진 링크)
- 사용자 기록, 스탬프 확인 기록, 메모, 라이딩 이력, 사진(기록 및 파일)
- 라이드 및 라이드 세션, 실시간·공개 라이드 데이터, 공개 라이더 목록 항목
- 관전자 목록 및 다른 라이더의 관전자 목록에 있는 이용자 항목
- 이용자 라이드의 메시지, 응원, 투표, 추천 장소, 리액션, 알림
- 이용자가 작성한 해저드 제보와 투표, 장소 제보
- 사용자 이름 및 라이드 동기화 키
보관되는 데이터
관계 법령에 따라 보존해야 하는 기록이 있는 경우를 제외하고는 보관하지 않으며, 그 경우에도 해당 기록만 법정 기간 동안 보관합니다.
휴대폰에 저장된 데이터
개인정보 보호 구역, SOS 연락처, 오류 보고서, 오프라인 지도, 기기 내 라이딩 기록은 휴대폰에만 저장되며 서버에는 없습니다. 안드로이드 설정에서 앱 저장공간을 지우거나 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
